It seems that didn't include Essendon's skipper. <br />Lovett lived with Quinn during his time at Essendon and the former Bombers fitness trainer last year urged St Kilda to give the 27yearold a second chance. <br />Quinn said Lovett would be coming to the realisation his career was over after the Saints sacked him yesterday, and it was critical the AFL system did not abandon him. <br />"He is absolutely devastated by the whole thing," Quinn said. "His career is in tatters and it's a consequence of his actions, and he is struggling with that. He knows if there was ever any hope of playing football again, that's the end of it. <br />"It's going to be a massive challenge for everybody to help him. He doesn't really have any support network around him, not like when he was at Essendon with the club around him, and now St Kilda have said, 'You are out'." <br />Lovett's manager Alex McDonald yesterday conceded the talented midfielder would struggle to reignite his AFL career. <br />"I guess we can't discount the possibility (it is over), but we hope not," he said. <br />"At 27 and with the ability he has got, he has three or four years of good footy in front of him. You hope the position he finds himself in doesn't mean people view his career is over." <br />McDonald said Lovett was extremely disappointed with St Kilda's decision. <br />"Andrew's welfare is at the front of everyone's minds and we have to make sure we get around him. He had the notification yesterday he needs to appear in court on Friday (on a rape charge) and when you combine that and a termination of contract, they are two fairly big slaps in the face and he has to deal with that," McDonald said. <br />"Then we need to make sure St Kilda are held to account on their obligations to Andrew,[url=http://www.sport.fr/economie/airmax.html]air max femmes[/url]." <br />The AFL said yesterday clubs were within their rights to sack players for serious misconduct. <br />AFL football operations manager Adrian Anderson said the league was not judging the legality of St Kilda's decision. <br />"We respect the right of the club to make decisions in relation to contract with its players in these matters," Anderson said.
